So yea, let’s pretend that this isn’t a pre-game blog...we’ll just call it...blog. I’m not going to be the one to take any superstitious blame if things don’t go well tonight for the Ducks...they’ll have to take that themselves.
UGH…I’m trying very hard not to comment AT ALL on how I think tonight will go. All the words I chose tend to lead to assumptions that I’d rather not make.
So.........
How about I say how disappointed I am with Ducks fans. I know the voting doesn’t mean much in terms of the All Star game...but come on people. Let’s at least put a little more effort in TRYING to get the guys into the starting line up. I vote quite regularly and I text often...quite often. You should be doing the same. I just did it again..your turn. Seriously...go do it. Yea yea, there’s plenty of time...blah...just...do it! Here, I’ll even help make it easy for you... ALL STAR DUCKS!
So anyway, another round of Paul Kariya and the Blues tonight. OH wait, he’s still hurt from the Chris Pronger shot he took a few weeks ago described as a lower body ailment. Well, Andy Mac fans will get a treat. No...he’s out too...broken leg. Hm, well since that leaves me with a positive thought, I’ll end that one there.
Teemu Selanne is mad (that’s my own description). Good. I like it when they are mad. Not frustrated, mad. I think frustrated leads to penalties, mad leads to aggressive play. The Ducks need mad right now. It sounds like the Ducks might be looking to shake things up a bit. Within the line up they obviously have options (I wont rehash my wishes) and they can make trades. Trades scare me (especially since I just bought a new jersey). But, I’m on board for whatever works for this team.
Alright boys...Please...I’m asking nicely.
GO DUCKS!!
