What to make of things

Oh those Ducks.

60 minutes, where did you go?

This just leaves me with more of the same. Up and down, up and down.

Just when you think things are going up up up...crazy penalties send it down down down. Just when they are playing hard, checking and making great passes...up up up...they stop moving their feet....down down down. Lose momentum...down down down. Lose focus...down down down. Show frustration...down down down. It gets to a point where it's too hard to pull back up up up.

Somethings got to give. Something.

I'd like to say I know what's missing. But I have no clue.

I'd like to say that there is a simple fix. But what is it?

How much longer is this team allowed to struggle this way? What are they doing that has taken them from "Cup Contender" to "hanging on by a thread playoff spot holder"? As fans, we all crossed our fingers that the beginning of the season was a simple falter...a fluke. Yet here we are many months later still dealing with the same "fluke"? Not acceptable. How many more deadlines are there going to be for this team? After this line gets hot, after the holidays, after the mid-way point of the season, after Selanne returns, after the All Star game, after the trade deadline...hey guess what...RUNNING OUT OF TIME! The next after is going to be...after this season is over...and then it will be too late.

Tomorrow is going to mean alot. We are literally talking about the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE! To say that they need to be crushed at the hands of the Ducks is an understatement. They are WIN LESS in 2009 and the Ducks need to ensure for their own mentality and stability that it remains that way. There are no excuses.

GO DUCKS! Now is the only time.
