Thinking thinking thinking...changing...still angry!

I'm still pissed off from last night...I'm just channelling it much better today.

So I was thinking more about all of this madness on my way to work. I have one heck of a drive every morning and way more than enough silence to fill in my head…so I did a lot of thinking about this today. I also want to point out, I’m numbed by the way this Ducks season has gone off and I think it’s time to take action!

Here’s what I’d like to clarify…I think that NO ONE is safe. In making my point about letting Carlyle go last night, I’d also like to make mention, that I don’t think that would/could be the only possible answer, but I’m not against it happening.

This Ducks GROUP (they’re a group, not a team), has some serious issues. I don’t believe that anyone can really be pardoned. Actually, I take that back, in all honesty I feel that Bobby Ryan has stepped up beyond imagination and rightfully so…he had A LOT to prove to the Ducks organization, the fans and the NHL. I believe that he has done just that. He may not light up the scoreboard EVERY NIGHT, but for all purposes here, he is always out there skating hard and playing the type of game fans expect to see coming from this TEAM! That cannot be said about everyone else. Too many times discussions here have gone from how great a player has performed one night, to how ridiculous he’s played the next. No one has been consistent, and no one has given the 100% needed to take this GROUP to the playoffs. Yet on the same note, something can be said of these guys trying to do TOO much individually (take Scotty’s actions last night for example).

It just seems that there have been an overabundance of excuses and false promises of getting back to the basics and doing what needs to be done…yet, we’ve seen nothing.

When the trade rumors started, I was against moving anyone. Now, I’m for it. I’m actually looking for it. Anything, SOMETHING.

What is going on here isn’t working. The work ethic is NON EXISTENT. Too many All Stars? Too many guys playing on their own? TOO MUCH OF A BAD THING!

Something must be done, this organization can NOT afford a complete meltdown…and we’re getting close to seeing that happen.
